(WASHINGTON) -- Actor and civil rights leader Charlton Heston will appear at a news conference in the nation's capital on Tuesday, May 3, to urge President Clinton to tell the truth about semiautomatic firearms. The news conference will be held on Tuesday, May 3, at 11:00 am, on the steps of the U.S. Capitol. Heston will be joined at the news conference by Wayne LaPierre, Executive Vice President of the National Rifle Association, as well as by Members of Congress and representatives of the military.
