California:

The special election to recall Senator David Roberti (D-Van
Nuys) -- father of California's gun ban -- will be held on Tuesday,
April 12. This is the first time in 80 years that a State
Legislator has had to face the voters in such an election. If he
does not receive a simple majority of the vote, he will be removed
IMMEDIATELY from his seat in the Senate. His replacement will be
chosen from candidates listed on another part of the ballot
(winner-take-all) and be sworn in the next day. We will follow
this update with a copy of an alert letter we are sending out to
all NRA members in Roberti's old district.
