Metaksa, Executive Director, NRA/ILA DATE: August 12, 1994 RE: Crime Bill and the Rule Yesterday the US House voted down the Rule that would have given the Administration a pork laden Crime bill -- Welfare for Criminals. However, it appears that the Administration is intent on trying to push this bill down everyone's throat. This is no time to quit. It is important that all citizens call their Representatives, thank them if they voted against the rule and urge them to again vote against the Rule that may come to a vote as early as next Monday or Tuesday August 15 or August 16. Only by letting Your elected representative know how you feel will the will of the people be done. Many thanks to all of you who made the August 11, 1994 victory possible.
