You will need to send $8 for each match entered via check/Money order, or International Postal Order for those outside the U.S. If these matches remain popular, I intend to have a running series with a "year end" championship. If interest is sufficient, we will also kick off a series of small bore pistol and rifle matches within a couple of weeks of the Air matches. If THOSE matches have a sufficient level of participation, I will look into expanding into big bore rifle, pistol and whatever else our on-line group would like. If you are interested, please let me know. * The smallbore and air matches are being run separately, so you need to send separate entries (eMail) for each. The entry fees may be combined, please include a note listing which matches the entries are for. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------ Due to the overwhelming response to the postal matches, it's become necessary for me to automate some of the data and entry process. The following instructions will allow you to auto receive further data on the matches without having to wait for me. =============== 1. For a copy of this data sheet (Called "Postal Data"), send me an EMPTY eMail with the title of "Postal Data". Please do not include personal messages to me in this eMail. 2. For a copy of the current set of RIFLE RULES send an EMPTY eMail with the title "Rifle Rules". Again, do not include personal messages to me in this eMail. 3. For a copy of the current set of PISTOL RULES send an EMPTY eMail with the title "Pistol Rules". Again, do not include personal messages to me in this eMail. 4. For a copy of the current batch of "Notice of Match documents" send an EMPTY eMail with the title "Postal Notice". Again, do not include personal messages to me in this eMail. 5. When sending an entry to me (and here you can include personal messages and questions, please title the message "Postal Entry". This will allow the system to automatically send you an update on the dates and the address to send the entry fee. I will answer specific questions in a separate eMail. 6. ANY OTHER MESSAGES SENT TO ME >>MUST<< HAVE THE NAME CHANGED! IF THE MESSAGE NAME IS "RE:POSTAL DATA" (ETC.), YOU WILL GET ANOTHER AUTOMATIC REPLY! So, if you're replying to any of the automatic messages, CHANGE THE MESSAGE NAME! Try something like "Match Questions" so I'll know to give the message special attention. ============== I want to thank you in advance for using this system, as it will free some of my time to work on running better (and more) matches - and it will allow me some time to shoot and keep the lawyers away! I simply refuse to allow the rules to get in the way of everyone having FUN! This schedule of matches is not to be construed as an absolute, as I'll add or alter matches per the demand of you, the shooters. If enough of you want to have left handed, weak eyed, rapid fire matches on Dixie Cup targets, that's what we'll do! There have been some requests for timed and rapid fire coursed for the smallbore pistol as well as centerfire pistol matches. I'll be polling everyone later to see how feasible these matches might be. In the meantime, if there's something you'd like to do, or changes you think should be made in how the matches should be run, please let me know. We're also discussing creating a Web Page for the eWorld Matches. We're hoping to make this a reality in the near future. I'll keep everyone posted. geoff beneze Sysop, eWorld Shooting Sports Forum Geoffb@eworld.com
