Subject: BOOK: Shooting Guide Offered


If your child is interested in shooting sports but you have limited
knowledge, then write for a copy of "A Parent's Guide to Recreational
Shooting for Youngsters," published by the National Shooting Sports
Foundation.  Experts in the field, including the Boy Scouts of America,
4-H Club and U.S. Olympic Committee, answer parents' questions on
safety, costs and legal requirements with facts that can help them make
a responsible decision.  The booklet also includes the "Firearms
Responsibility Contract" to be signed by the beginning shooter and
parent.  Copies are available for 50 cents each ($10 for 100 copies)
from NSSF, 11 Mile Hill Road, Newtown, Conn., 06470; 203-426-1320.
