Governor of California. Usually this office is not so vital as are many others, but right now -- for pro-gun and pro-RKBA people -- it is! In the upcoming November election, Republicans are likely to pick up four seats (so say those in the know around Sacramento), which means that the Senate will be evenly populated by Democrats and Republicans. In the even of tie votes on legislation, the Lt. Governor is the tie-breaker. Cathie Wright is a *very* strong ally of pro-RKBA and pro-gun people. She has been rated A+ by the American Pistol & Rifle Association; the NRA has refrained from endorsing any candidate in this race, probably waiting until after the primary. Cathie's staff tell me she is ahead of her competitor by about 2/3, but that she needs support right through the primary. Please tell everyone you can to vote for Cathie Wright for Lt. Governor on June 7th. A few weeks ago I spent ~11 hours in the Senate Judiciary Committee hearing room waiting to testify. During the entire time I had the opportunity to observe Senator Wright first-hand, and was very impressed with her strength of character and position on virtually all matters. Her stance on RKBA and gun-rights is as good as it gets. We need someone such as her in powerful positions in CA. I spent considerable time speaking with her privately yesterday, and she assured me and I am convinced that she is a good friend to gun owners and pro-RKBA folks. Her voting record on such matters is excellent. A vote for Cathie Wright for Lt. Governor June 7th is a vote for RKBA. If anyone has any questions about Senator Wright, please email me.
