The issue will feature articles by Professor Randy Barnett, Boston University Law School (on governmental legitimacy, Waco, and Oklahoma City), Professor Glenn Reynolds, University of Tennessee Law School (a survey of scholarship and caselaw on the Second Amendment), David Kopel and Clayton Cramer, Independence Institute (state- by-state survey of new liberalized concealed-carry laws and their effect on crime rates), Dan Gifford (on the philosophical basis of the right to keep and bear arms), Col. Charles Dunlap, USAF (on the military relevance of the militia), Don Kates, Henry Schaffer, John Lattimer, et al., Harvard Medical School and other institutions (criticizing the "public health" literature on guns and violence), and Prof. Joyce Malcolm, Bentley College (reviewing Robert Cottrol's book, "Gun Control and the Constitution.").
