This bill, H.R. 4296 (formerly H.R. 3527), is a replica of Sen. Dianne Feinstein's ban. It will ban more than 180 firearms and could affect 50% of the gun owners in the country. Yes, this bill will even affect common hunting and target rifles, including the AR-15 target rifle. If your Congressman is listed below, call and fax him -- even if you already have. Your Congressman is on the fence and he needs to feel the heat. If your Congressman is not on this list, call one of the ones listed in your state. When you call, ask to talk to the staffer who handles the firearms issue. (This will tie him up and multiply the effect of your efforts.)
