It is probably one of the fairest articles I have read. It "reports" the issue, without distorting the facts. One of the more interresting aspects of the article is the contradiction made by a Miami police officer. In one paragraph, the author (Robert Davis) writes "Sgt. Eddie Martines, a Miami police homicide detective, doubts having more armed citizens on the streets had anything to do with the falling murder rate. He credits community-based efforts that team police with concerned citizens." Yet in another paragraph "Sgt. Martinex feels safer. He carries his gun everywhere. Not because he's a cop, but 'to protect myself and my family.' " Read this article.
