Use & enjoy! ------------------------------------------------------------------ KCBS Radio Dear Sirs, I am writing to express my disapproval of your biased coverage of Mayor Jordan's anti-self-defense press conference tied in with the interview of Sara Brady in Washington. Mrs. Brady was allowed to state many of her opinions as if they were facts, and no opposing voice was aired. Her chief point was that the NRA took advantage of the anti-incumbent feelings of the voters and elected a pro-self-defense Congress against the wishes of the voters, and that the voters are in fact against self-defense and in favor of disarming victims. The truth is that no issue was more closely correlated with defeat of incumbents than their support of such victim disarmament laws as the Assault Weapon Ban and the Brady Bill. The right to self-defense, both against criminals and a tyrannical government, is the most basic of human rights. Victim disarmament laws advocated by Sara Brady will do nothing to decrease violent crime, but rather have only the effect of allowing the criminals to go about their dirty business unchallenged. The American people understand this. They also understand that the right to own and carry weapons is guaranteed by the Second Amendment in the Bill of Rights, and they will throw politicians out of office for attempting to dismantle it. Please place a copy of this letter in your public comments file. I expect to see coverage of the pro-self-defense position in the next few days to undo the damage done by today's reporting. In the future I will expect to see unbiased coverage of the victim-disarmament issue from your station, or I will oppose renewal of your FCC license. Sincerely, James Ludemann, President
