FINAL ON BRADY BILL.... Late on Wednesday, the US Senate agreed to the changes as passed by the Democrat controlled House-Senate conference committee. The conference committee stripped most of the NRA supported Republican Senate amendments to the "Brady" bill. The following is the list of changes made by the anti-gun politicians in the conference committee. According to US Senator Robert Dole, KS, an agreement was struck with Senator Mitchell, ME, House Speaker Foley, House Judiciary Committee Chairman Brooks and President Clinton to take up the Senate provisions and support them in January 1994. On Thanksgiving, November 25, 1993, Tanya K. Metaksa was on Washington, DC television with a spokesperson from Handgun Control, Inc. who flatly stated that they would be opposed to any changes and vowed to fight the Republican Senators and their agreement. It should be noted that Senator Larry Craig, ID, and Senator Kay Bailey Huntchins, TX, were recorded as opposed to accepting the House-Senate conference report.
