Thanks much for your efforts on this! here's congress.info for unix You can run the "congress-unix2dos.awk" to create my idea of a dos file or you can just delete the old one. Ideally, I want to take HOUSEALL.TXT, SENATALL.TXT, and committee information, run it through a script to generate congress.info. I just have not work in the comittee information yet. I'll work on it when I get a chance. __ To: chan@shell.portal.com Subject: senate e-mail Date: Wed, 03 May 95 10:17:41 -0400 From: "Dennis C. Josifovich" I folded in the e-mail address for the senate that you (jeff chan) distributed into my congress.info file. I also generated a SENATALL-new.TXT file which should be indentical to tat's SENATALL.TXT file with the addition of the senator's email addresses. I will send the split uuencoded tarfile in subsequent messages. Please make SENATALL-new.TXT available to tat so if she likes she may verify it. Also, there were two email addresses that conflicted with previous address. For now, I just put one after the other in []s. I will send them e-mail to determine which ones are valid.
