Richardson RE: SB 357 (Polanco), SB 557 (Campbell) ============================================================ Boy, has it been chaotic down at the capitol these days for the gun owners. For those of you who don't already know all the garbage that's going on at the capitol, here's the latest. SB 357, Polanco's bill has failed passage on the Assembly Floor, but someone decided to give it ANOTHER chance, so it is up for reconsideration and on call. This bill places undue restrictions on the sale or distribution of ammunition which can create criminals out of law-abiding citizens who transfer spent ammunition for innocent purposes. SB 557, Campbell's bill is on call today. As introduced, this bill increases the penalties for violation of carrying a loaded or concealed firearm. We must oppose any increases in penalties against the law-abiding gun owners until significant reform is made in regards to CCW's. Please contact all Assembly members and voice your support of SB 670 and SB 671, and opposition to SB 357 and SB 557.
