         5/2/95 UPDATE ON THE 6/4/95 RALLY FROM THE COMMITTEE OF 1776

                    THE RALLY PERMIT HAS BEEN APPROVED!

GREAT NEWS: Presidential candidate Alan Keyes confirmed to speak.  Possibly
the most dynamic speaker on the political scene today.  Senator Bob Dole's
campaign has expressed interest, but will wait to see what his schedule is
closer to the event.  Senator Phil Gramm still a possibility.  Liddy still
not confirmed.

Cameron 1 and 2 conference room booked at Comfort Inn, Duke St. off 395,
for reception on 6/3 from 10AM - 4PM and meeting from 4PM to 8PM.

URGENT!  Money is NOT coming in.  Permit requires we provide 20
portapotties, over $1,000.  Key speakers expense re-imbursement, sound
system, conference room costs money, etc.  If we don't ante up, this could
be a bust.  What's it gonna be?  NOW is the time to send some money - WE'RE
WAY BEHIND!

All persons wishing to set up tables to sell printed materials (books,
bumper stickers, pamphlets, t-shirts) must contact event organizer Ron Long
to get approval under the permit.  No memberships can be sold, though
literature can be distributed if approved.  Direct solicitation is not
allowed.

Committee needs Large American flags with stands; colored rope; 20 folding
chairs; water coolers.

Urgent message added to theme: FIGHT ANY ATTEMPT TO ERODE LIBERTY AS A
RESULT OF THE OKLAHOMA BOMBING.
