NATIONAL RALLY THIS WEEKEND!

This may be the final electronic notice from THE COMMITTEE OF
1776 announcing the second annual national pro-second amendment
rally in Washington DC on Sunday June 4, 1995 from 11 AM to 3 PM
at the Lincoln Memorial.  Once again, the theme this year is:

REVISE & RESCIND!  Come to Washington for a little R & R

The rally and speakers are designed to send the message that all
NEEDED gun laws must be revised to remove unconstitutional
sections, and that all UNNEEDED gun laws must be rescinded!
Examples of those that must be rescinded are the Gun Control Act
of 1934, the Gun Control Act of 1968, the McClure-Volkmer Gun
Control Act of 1986, the Brady Act and the Assault weapons ban in
the 1994 crime bill.

The confirmed list of speakers, in alphabetical order, is:

slaying by the Luby's Cafeteria killer in Texas, while her
legally owned handgun was outside in the trunk of her car, as
Texas law demanded) - Roy Innis (Executive Director of C.O.R.E.,
the Congress On Racial Equality.) - J.J. Johnson (pro-militia
spokesman) - G. Gordon Liddy (needs no introduction) - Don Loucks
(noted pro-RKBA Texan)  - Kurt Lyons, Esq. (CAUSE Foundation) -
Sheriff Richard Mack (The Arizona Sheriff who successfully
challenged the Brady Law in Federal court) - Carol Moore (author
of "Murder of the Branch Davidians) - Larry Pratt (Executive
Director of GOA) - Bob Sarp (Director of AGOA) - Dan Schultz Esq.
(Executive Director of "Lawyers for the 2nd Amendment

Unfortunately, presidential candidate Alan Keyes has reversed his
earlier confirmation, and apparently will not attend.

to request that they carry the rally live.  Have your friends
call too.  Call or fax Rep. Steve Stockman at (202)225-6565 or
225- 3483(fax) to thank him for agreeing to appear at the rally.
He's taking a beating in the press, so our show of support
matters.  Call the G. Gordon Liddy show (and other talk shows) to
spread the message and get people talking about the rally.

Saturdays Agenda: Hospitality suite from 10AM - 4PM at the
Comfort Inn, Duke St. off 395, in the Cameron 1 and 2 conference
rooms.  There will be a business meeting from 4PM - ?.  Order of
business will be: 1) Election of new officers.  All current
officers will resign, but are eligible for re-election.   2)
Reaffirmation of Charter.  3) Discussion of next rally.  4) New
business.
