This 2nd annual 2nd Amendment Rally will take place at the West steps of the Sacramento State Capitol on Saturday, July 1, 1995. The Rally will begin at 9:00 a.m., with guest speakers at 1:00 p.m. A web page in being updated and maintained by Jeff Thomas. Guest speakers already confirmed: Dr. Suzanna Gratia, State Senator Maurice Johannessen, State Senator Dick Monteith, Assemblyman Pete Knight, Chief Byrd from Isleton, and Sheriff Heard from Tehama County. Speakers invited and awaiting confirmation: Tanya Metaksa, Neil Knox, Aaron Zelman, Jim Flotis, Ken Hamblin, Gene Burns, Andrea Seastrand, and many more! Many grassroots organizations have purchased booth space at the 1995 Rally. Supporters include: NRA Members' Councils, Libertarians, Republicans, authors of firearms related books, JPFO supporters, and many other groups and individuals who are concerned about assaults on gun owners. Southwest Airlines in cooperation with the 1995 2nd Amendment Rally Committee, is offering attendees to the 1995 2nd Amendment Rally a discount on both Southwest's low everyday unrestricted fares and Southwest's even lower restricted fares for travel on Southwest Airlines. Shuttle service to and from the Sacramento Airport will be available on the day of the Rally. A northern California businessman has donated his P.A. System in support of the Rally. This sound system is capable of carrying the words of our guest speakers to the anticipated crowd of 10,000 people who will attend the 1995 Rally. Charter buses are being formed. Greyhound Bus Lines offers extensive bus service throughout the state of California. Reservations are not needed, just arrive at your departure point 1 hour prior to the departure time. A Suisun City graphic artist has agreed to create the official 1995 2nd Amendment Rally insignia. This insignia will be used on hats, shirts, buttons, posters, etc. Look for this artwork within the next two weeks! AMTRAK offers extensive rail service throughout California.
